What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I normally meet with the customer. Let them walk me through what their needs and wants are. I explain in detail what I can do for them. Take pictures. Then email them an estimate.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't just hire the cheapest person it's a recipe for a bad job. It could cost three times as much to pay for a botched job. You pay someone else to fix it, plus the cost to tear it out and start over again. You end up saving nothing.
