Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Is industry standard is to charge per cabinet for installation. If you have a lot of boxes then the labor cost will probably be a little higher to match the job size.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
When I receive a new lead, if we are a good fit then I will try to schedule the job as soon as possible. I will need to know the following. 1- If any assembly or demolition is required. 2- how many cabinets need to be installed. 3- Where is the job located.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
No formal training. Just on the job training. Over 15 years of experience in the cabinetry industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started in high school sweeping floors. Then worked my way to installation, manufacturing, design then sales.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Home owners as well as project managers for the commercial side of things.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I installed a showroom for a local cabinetry provider. See pictures in my profile. I enjoyed this project because I was able to contribute to the design which is my favorite aspect of the work.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Check their experience level and their reviews. They should have a record of success and proof of their skills.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I would say just knowing what they want ahead of time. That will speed things up when it comes time to install. If you are unsure of how to do something I would be happy to offer suggestions.
