Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are honest, and we price for quality work. We work with returning customers. ex: if they are buying a kitchen from us, and want us to install, then we give a discount on the installation, or a bathroom they may want to work on, or any future project we may be able to do for them.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
In our first introduction i let the customer talk so that i can make a profile of what the customer wants. Many times they are lost or undecided on what they are looking for. It is my job to walk them trough the project, giving them advice when needed or requested. I like to know upfront their expectations. In this introductory process i let them know my responsibilities as well as my expectations from the customers; clear communication is important for completion of a successful project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Over 20 years working as carpenter. I do demolition, installation, put crown molding, baseboards.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started working for a company in GA, where i used to live. I worked for them for many years. I originally started putting school lockers, and installing multi units apartments. I moved to FL about 12 years ago, and decided to work for myself.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All types, from high end commercial contracts to residential. I have worked in mansions, condos, apartments, retirement homes, and single family homes.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A few months back I remodeled a kitchen of a famous retired baseball player. Because of confidentiality I am unable to say; however I was very thrilled. The family was very respectful and courteous to me and the other workers.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Not all carpenters know how to install kitchens and not all carpenters know how to install crown moldings. I am blessed to know the trade. Ask as many questions you think of. An honest provider will be glad to answer all of them!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Have you done these type of work? Discuss a clear budget How long is the project going to last? Do you provide a warranty on the work performed, if so, how long?
