I’ve spent 12 years working in outdoor construction, and I’ve gained a lot of hands-on experience in the field. Over the years, I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, which has given me a deep understanding of the trade. I also have an Associate’s degree in Construction Management, which has helped me fine-tune my skills in project planning, budgeting, and team coordination. This combination of practical experience and formal education allows me to approach each project with both expertise and a solid foundation in construction principles.

I got started in this line of work 12 years ago, and honestly, it’s been a passion of mine ever since. I’ve always had an interest in construction, particularly outdoor projects, and I was drawn to the idea of working with my hands and seeing tangible results from my efforts. I started with some entry-level roles, learned a lot on the job, and just kept moving up from there. Over the years, my passion for the work has only grown, and now I can’t imagine doing anything else. It’s more than just a job for me—it’s something I genuinely love.

Whether it’s a simple backyard makeover or a more complex, large-scale outdoor construction project, we approach every job with the same level of dedication and attention to detail. One recent project that stands out is a composite deck we built for a client in Long Grove IL. It was a bit of a challenge because there were a few unexpected hiccups along the way—everything from delays with material deliveries to some tricky weather conditions. But in the end, it turned out great, and the client was thrilled with the result. The project took about 2 weeks to complete, but we made sure every detail was right, and we stayed in close communication with the client throughout.
