Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
350.00 a day is what i aim for! Its how i keep food on the table and stay on track with my financial plan of financial independence. Thats it, no other moatvies.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We like to come out and see the project first hand and talk details of expectations and timeline. From there LFC gather materials list with price and discuss with the customer. Once we have an arrangement we ask for up to 50% of the project up front in order to purchase materials and begin the project. *Depending on the scope of the project is may be more reasonable to ask for 1/3 for materials upfront and discuss check point in the project to be completed for the next 1/3 of the job until the project is completed.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My dad took me to the job sites when i was young and i wanted to build like him. At the time he did custom stairs and the projects my dad did made me want to get to his level.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have mostly worked with private, residential customers, and a few contractors.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Recently i build six cabinets for a pantry and installed them. Building the cabinets was about a week with another 3 days of install.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Pay for the quality of the work up front! DO NOT go cheap. Pay for the time and materials for the Pro to do what they are good at. Let them do what they do best and say thank you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should consider how the construction project will impact their day to day life and the cleanliness of the home during construction. Understand that the way you envision your project may not be practical and we need to make adjustments to get your home back in shape and be within the skillset of the Pro you are working with. Finally COMMUNICATE with LFC. Do not assume we know the details you would like. Better to ask questions on small things to get the details right so you get your moneys worth. I have a small story about this if you want to hear it.
