What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I really need to see the project in order to give an exact price. My rate ranges from $20 to $40 per hour depending on the complexity of the work.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to meet with them to see what they are looking to do. Then I give them additional ideas if requested. I alway want to have a clear process of what will be the steps I will follow to completing the work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 30 years experience in construction and have my construction supervisor license.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I loved working with wood and building since I was a young boy. I always had a passion for woodworking.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types. I can work with any personality. I actually would have it no other way.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Large deck custom handrails and 2 sets of stairs. 3.5 days

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

References are the most important. It will give them a feel for what the end result will be.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Time commitment, researching to get a real good idea of exactly what they want.
