Introduction

Since childhood, I have been working with my hands, I studied with my grandfather and father. The main priorities in my work are honesty and attention to detail. In my country, I graduated with a degree in civil engineering, therefore I have an excellent knowledge of the basics of building structures and general knowledge of building engineering systems. I have extensive experience in building houses from design to finishing. Including frame works, earthworks, foundations, concrete works, cladding, roofing, insulation, window and door installation, painting, floors, moldings, drainage, fences and more.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I do my work at a fairly high level of quality. I don’t aim to make it as simple, fast, and cheap as possible. I’d rather the work take a couple of extra days, but be done right, so I can be proud of the result. Despite this, since my business is still young and very small, the price-to-quality ratio remains very advantageous for the client. So, I believe you’ll have no trouble finding someone who can do it cheaper, but if you care about not only the price but also the quality of the work, I’m confident you won’t regret hiring me.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
After a client reaches out to me, I attempt to gather basic information through correspondence. I always ask the client to send me photos. This is a crucial step, as it helps determine if I can genuinely assist the client at this stage. As a rule, I can fairly accurately estimate the cost of the work based on the description and photos. If the preliminary cost suits the client, then I visit the client and gather detailed information about the project in person. I inspect the future construction site with my own eyes, assess the scope, and evaluate the complexity of the work. As a rule, the price at this stage remains the same, unless previously unknown factors are discovered. In complex cases, I create a 3D model of the future construction and calculate the precise cost of required materials and labor. When all the details are agreed upon with the client, we coordinate the start date for the project and commence the work.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
As of today, my main work focus is designing and constructing small structures and additions, such as decks, porches, carports, garages, sheds, shelters for animals, children's playhouses, and the like.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Compare contractors not only by price but also by the quality of their work. Review the contractor’s previous projects through photos in their profile or ask for additional photos of works similar to yours. Ask the contractor about the details of the job and the materials they use. Inform the contractor about the price range you are planning to work within. Make sure you are comparing offers that are similar in terms of quality, materials, and labor intensity.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What details are most important to you during the process and in the final result? It could be high-quality workmanship and materials, or perhaps the lowest possible price is a priority. Maybe the start date and duration of the work are critical for you, or there are other factors. Be sure to let me know when reaching out so I can find the best offer for you.
