What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Craft & Repair, we believe in fair, transparent pricing with no hidden fees.
Every project is custom — from a simple repair to a full basement transformation — so we provide detailed, written estimates after a free on-site consultation. This way, you know exactly what you’re paying for, with labor, materials, and cleanup all clearly listed.
We’re happy to work within your budget by recommending smart, cost-saving solutions without compromising quality. We also offer repeat customer loyalty discounts and run occasional seasonal specials, so be sure to ask.
Most importantly, we never surprise you with extra charges; if something changes, we’ll discuss it and approve it together first.

4. Scheduling & Prep

5. The Work Begins

6. Final Walk-Through

7. Ongoing Support
Even after the job’s complete, we’re just a call or message away if you ever need anything.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
For me, it really began with helping out family and friends, tackling weekend projects, fixing up old spaces, and seeing how much joy a fresh, finished room could bring. I found I loved the process: planning it out, doing the work with my own hands, and watching a space completely transform.
That’s what led me to start Craft & Repair. Now I get to do what I’m passionate about every day — build, solve problems, and create places people love to spend time in.
What types of customers have you worked with?
It started pretty simple, just helping out friends and family with odd jobs around the house. One basement led to another, then someone asked if we could do their flooring, then another asked for a full remodel. We realized we not only enjoyed the work but had a real eye for detail and design. That’s when we decided to turn it into something bigger — and that’s how Craft & Repair was born. We’ve been building ever since, one project and one happy homeowner at a time.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One project we’re really proud of our recent project was a deck painting job we just wrapped up. The old deck was weathered and faded, so we cleaned, sanded, and gave it a fresh, rich stain that completely brought it back to life.
The homeowner couldn’t believe it was the same deck — it looked brand new. The whole process took us about 2-3 days, and it’s always a great feeling to see outdoor spaces transformed like that, ready for summer barbecues and family gatherings.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I always suggest them to find someone you’re comfortable with — not just on price, but on trust and communication. Look at their past work, check reviews, and make sure they’re good.
Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions about the process, materials, and what’s included. A good contractor will be happy to walk you through it all and keep everything clear from day one. It’s your home, so you should feel confident and excited about who you hire.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Before reaching out, it really helps to spend a little time thinking about what you want out of the project. Ask yourself: What’s the main reason you want this work done? Are you hoping to update the look, create more usable space, fix something that’s worn out, or even boost your home’s value?
It’s also a good idea to figure out your budget range. Even a rough idea helps us steer you toward the best materials and options for your goals. And think about your timeline — are you hoping to get started right away, or are you planning ahead for a few months down the road?
Finally, gather any inspiration you might have, like photos of styles or finishes you love. The more you can share upfront, the better we can tailor ideas, give accurate estimates, and make sure the end result is exactly what you’re dreaming of.
And we promise — Craft & Repair won’t disappoint you.
