My names Justin, I’m a third generation woodworker at least as far as I know. My grandfather ran an afterschool woodshop for neighborhood kids in Midland, Michigan near the Pine River, hence the name. He past when my father was a young teen so I never got to meet him. My dad taught me from a young age, I learned how to build a house at 12 and do many different remodeling jobs before I was 20. In my professional career I started in automotive refinishing, then mechanical and locksmithing before managing a company. Now I’m on my own and doing what I know best, in my adult life I have done fine woodworking on the side making much of the furniture in my home and gifting to family and friends. Now I hope to share my craft with you.
