Introduction

We are a small custom furniture and cabinet shop. Keeping overhead low, we are able to pass the savings to our customers. Big franchise companies can not compete with out quality and pricing. We are here to be part of the community and see it grow, with local businesses around. Supporting our great community and giving back where we can.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Yes and no, Average hourly rate is $75 an hour. Prices are set on cabinets when the customer determines what type of material they want them to be made of and type of doors and finish. If the job is going to be longer than a normal 8 hour day then I will create an estimate for the whole job.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to talk with them to find out what their end goal is. Find out what the price range is they are wanting to stay within. Custom cabinets being built, refurbishing furniture or removing and installing new cabinets all have different price points. They are the ones hiring and have to live with the final outcome. The customers happiness is why I am in business.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Been building custom cabinets for over 20 years at a family business. Found this is the best time for me to branch out and start my own business.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I have seen many companies under bid myself. However I get a phone call weeks later to come in and fix there mistakes. The main thing is quality of the product and the finish you get. I believe each piece of cabinet or furniture is to be done with the highest quality and be past from generation to generation.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Type of material they want, finish they want and hardware. Most have a design in mind but haven't got it to paper yet. They dream it we can build it.
