My name is Tyler Duncan, and I am the owner of The Honest Handyman. My wife Bree, 1 year old son Hunter, and I moved to Bellevue from East Nashville in the summer of 2023. I spent the last 12 years of my life building an automotive service department for company that many in the west side of Nashville are familiar with called Todd’s Car Team. Being a certified Master Honda PACT Mechanic I have always had a sincere passion and desire to help people. For many years, that was diagnosing and helping people with their vehicles. In the fall of 2023 I decided to step away from a successful career as a Lead Diagnostician/Automotive Service Manager and lean into what God has for me. Feeling a calling in my life to use my hands and my gifts to help others rather than sit at a desk, I have decided to start a new adventure. Please let me introduce you to: The Honest Handyman With 25+ years of automotive diagnostic/repair and in-home renovation experience, I can help provide families with a one call, one stop handyman service. Being a past service member I believe in supporting the great men and women who defend our freedoms. I also believe in supporting all the servants that work long hours unthankfully to help provide my family and loved ones with a quality of life. Please ask about our 10% discount for all: teachers, nurses, present and ast duty service members, law enforcement officers, first responders, clergy and medical professionals. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I believe in transparent and honest business. For me business needs to benefit both parties for there to be a transaction of value. My clients are given a simple 4 step method. 1. Identify needs 2. Inspect for repairs 3. provide pricing options for service (good, better, best) 4. Perform approved work. All communication: quotes, invoices and payments are handled electronically. We securely save cards on file to remove any payment hastles.
