Cypress Cabinet Company LLC ( formerly Cypress Woodworks) is a quality custom cabinet, furniture and woodworking company located in Cypress, Texas. Our mission is to design and build the highest quality cabinets and furniture available. Upon contacting us, we will come to your home or place of business to discuss what your woodworking needs are. You will be involved in every aspect of the production of your item from the design phase to the installation stage. All of our items are custom made to your specifications. Cypress Custom Cabinets LLC is a fully customized cabinet shop that designs and constructs to fit your needs. Nothing is made until the customer signs off on the design so every job or project is new and original.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

No standard pricing as each cabinet or furniture piece is custom.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We will set up a meeting with the customer to do a firm measure and to talk with the customer about what their needs are. We will them design a set of CAD drawings showing all of the details that will go into the project. After the customer reviews the drawings, we will require a deposit of 50% of the total project to purchase materials and get started. Upon completion of the construction we will set up a time for demo of existing cabinets and or installation of the new cabinets of furniture pieces. Upon completion of installation we will require the balance of the total cost. We offer a 1 year warranty of all of our work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 30 years experience as a custom cabinet maker and furniture maker

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Built my first piece of furniture, a dresser, at age 15 and fell in love with wood

Anyone from residential to commercial customers

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Just finished an Alder kitchen with shaker doors and drawer fronts. It took 4 weeks from the first cut to the final finish coat.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Shop around and stay local.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

If they are upgrading, they need to decide how much of an upgrade they can afford. They need to decide whether they want paint grade or stained cabinets, new appliances, sinks and faucets. If they want granite or marble counters or go with quartz, all of this will effect the cost of the upgrade.
