What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We are a family owned business with all insurance that is needed for you not to worry when we are on your job and we should always be somewhere in the middle range - never the cheapest and not the most expensive Our office and equipment in on our 35 acre facility including barn and garage

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Simple call for a free estimate and the estimate is usually sent the same day If all looks good and excepted we usually run about 2 to 3 weeks unless you need something do to an emergency . Deposit only on the day we showed up and balance when walked and finished . A signed proposal sent back by email will get you on the scheduled

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

45 years in the industry and 39 years self employed . Certified in several siding installation , air and water flashing installation etc 1st 10 years in business hands on doing the work with my own crew

How did you get started doing this type of work?

1978 started in the construction industry along with trade school training

Residential - Commercial - Industrial Government work - Embassy work

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Soft wash exterior complete . Stone paver front walk way with custom iron rail . Complete exterior stucco painting with special stucco paint (elastomeric) , rotten antique shutters which we replaced certain areas of the wood to restore the shutters and complete trim painting

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they are licensed and insured along with a decent rating Always ask for 2 to 3 references and there is no reason to give a deposit until the day you show up to start the work

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The best advice is to ask how things will be done and why ? Most owners are business men and do not carry a very good knowledge on how things are done out in the field , so they relay on the crew !! not good My crews have been taught by me the owner and I need things done my way so the end result is done and the problem go away
