What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I always try to give a hard quote. If a project is difficult to estimate duration I will give an hourly rate but that isn't typical. My prices aren't cheap, but the cheapest quote isn't necessarily the best quality.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I typically want to get as much information as possible from the customer about the project, whether it's via email or in person. I do want to meet in person if it's a project that requires installation. I follow up a few times throughout the project to keep the customer updated.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 15 years experience in various types of woodworking and 8+ years in commercial finish carpentry

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started working with my dad on his side jobs around age 13

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would say always follow your gut, and the cheapest quote is not necessarily the best one. If you see any red flags, get a second opinion. In the end, always go with your gut.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Think about timeline, key details you want addressed in the project and a reasonable budget range Also, I do not wear a mask so keep that in mind when hiring me specifically.
