What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

As a self-taught general contractor, my training comes from hands-on experience, mentorship, and self-education. I’ve learned on the job, gained insights from experienced professionals that has allowed me to develop the skills needed to manage and execute construction projects successfully.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started in the industry with a job at a termite company, then moved on to a custom home builder working on large homes. From there, I became a project manager at a design/build construction company handling million-dollar projects. I gained experience with commercial tenant improvements while working on bank buildings, then started my own company focusing on residential remodels. I also worked for a display company, handling commercial tenant improvements, cabinetry, and displays for five years. Each role helped build my expertise and led me to where I am today.
