Introduction

I take pride in my work and since we use a certified low moisture cleaning process it typically looks better and lasts longer than steam cleaning. Not to mention that it dries in less than an hour. Hallways are included. Even though it's the same kind of work, every job is a new place so it feels like it has variety.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Cost is based on square footage for tile and carpet. Upholstery is by linear foot for sofas and loveseats and per piece for chairs. I run specials and always try to give the customer a competetive rate. Please note that the costs listed for each type of service is an estimate and may vary depending on size and condition of each job. Also for tile and vinyl cleaning, if thumbtack lists my prices at 1.00 per sq. Ft. it is only because presently their system doesn't let us price under that amount. My prices for tile and vinyl are around .40-50 cents per sq ft for tile and about .25-30 for vinyl.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically go to home to estimate or do a walk through prior to beginning work to assess for spotting, traffic lane build-up, etc. Or tile type and any possible damages prior to beginning work. I explain what I am going to do, if I anticipate any concerns, then I get right to work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Videos/demos and many years of training in the Marine Corps. They say every Marine is a basic rifleman but what they don't see is that each of us is also trained in cleaning by hand and with floor machines for vinyl and tile similar to the ones I use now.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
A friend gave me the equipment and trained my how to do carpets and upholstery and tile floors. Over the past few years I have built a steady customer base and completed many jobs from residential carpet, tile and upholstery to commercial work. This coupled with my years in the Military prepared me well for this business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Carpet, upholstery and tile cleaning for residential and commercial clients.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Went to a house near mine and the lady had a sick dog who had thrown up on brand new carpet in about three spots, so she didn't need a complete job. I worked out the stains and cleaned a 6 x 8 section. She was very happy.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Don't just go with the cheapest quote. Contact the professional and ask questions about the work and if there is a guarantee (like with my work). Often companies will provide a very low quote and upon arrival will then "upcharge" for spotting, odor removal, furniture moving, etc. This often makes the price higher than my quotes which always include vacuuming, spotting and basic furniture moving.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
We work hard to get your carpets and floors clean. I work very hard and want to please every customer I come into contact with.
