Introduction

We are a family-owned and locally-operated cleaning, maintenance and restoration business. At FLOOR PRO, we provide a concierge-level of service unlike any other in the midlands. With over 20 years of personal industry experience, we are able to deliver quality residential and commercial services to all of our clients. The cleaning industry is full of "cleaners" who can do a job, but have know idea why some things work and others don't. At FLOOR PRO, we have IICRC certifications,as well as, the experience to be able to tell you what we are cleaning, how we will clean it, and why it should be cleaned in that manner. We never try to "sell" you something you do not truly need. At FLOOR PRO, we enjoy meeting and educating clients on the specific cleaning, maintenance or restoration needs for their home and/or business. Making people happy by providing an exceptional customer experience is what I believe separates FLOOR PRO versus the competition. I love being a small-business owner and being part of a community where I get to know my customers on a personal level.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
For most things, yes. Each customer has different cleaning needs, so we like to give you a quote based on cleaning what you actually need and what is recommend by us as professionals. The more information each client is able to give us in regards to a job, the more accurate of a quote we can provide.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We like to get to know the customer and find out what the specific needs are for their home or business. We like to explain to the customer what process we use for the cleaning requested, and what will best suit the home or businesses needs. Based on that information, we can take care of each client with the highest level of quality and care that is the "gold standard" of our business.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Yes, all the time! Like any profession, things are always changing and you always want to provide your customers with the latest knowledge of the industry. Taking courses and becoming certified in different areas of our profession shows clients how much you care about what you do. It but also provides you the education needed to answer any questions they might have about any type of service we provide!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started helping my father in his cleaning business when I was a child, and worked for him some until college. After that, I wanted to use my experience and knowledge to broaden the services I could offer to clients. I knew it was time to start my own business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All types in residential and commercial settings. Homes, Schools, Hotels, Restaurants, Real Estate Agents, Property Managers, Contractors, Government Buildings, and more.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Cleaning a foster home for children. To be able to provide such a simple thing; clean floors and upholstery, was such a gratifying thing. It only took a few hours of my time, but provided children with a clean place to sleep for months to come. It felt wonderful to make a difference for them.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure they are knowledgeable about what they do. Ask questions. Make sure they are licensed business professionals. Check out the reviews, website, etc. There are a lot of people out that claim they know what they are doing, but really don't. Your home or business can be easily damaged by the wrong person. And of course they should be nice to you!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
There is a lot of information about the cleaning industry concerning physics and chemistry. It's more than just "what meets the eye", it's how the process works to clean any type of surface. Learning that is what makes it interesting.
