I’m a local to the central Virginia area. My grandpa trained his two sons to install flooring and carpet. The two sons (one of which my dad) have installed carpet for 40+ years. I have branched out and expanded into cleaning. I use a portable entry level cleaning unit. It’s a low moisture unit which means it’s way better for the longevity of your carpet. The more modern chain cleaners who I will not name typically use a steam based system that blasts your carpet which may clean it and get lots of stains out… but it ruins the backing and adhesive. Cleaning like that shouldn’t be done often if at all. My cleaning services are dedicated to keeping your carpets clean and long lasting. Excessively soiled carpets will greatly decrease the lifespan of carpet.
