What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We are a competitive company. We generally have a $49 service fee that gets waived after being hired with a deposit. We do offer senior and veteran discounts when mentioned before proposals.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our process is setting up an estimation date and time with a one hour travel window in between. For instance, a late morning time schedule frame would be between 10 and 11 AM. Discussion of the project will take place in the building of the project to be performed of. A digital estimate will be provided via email or text message with a deposit request to lock in on a start date. All forms of payment are accepted via Zelle, Venmo, credit card, check, and cash.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Over 20 years field experience. Interior and exterior prime/paint work

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Summers in high school then full time home improvement contracting after graduation. Since 1996. Islandwide was founded in 2012 as a home improvement llc which is primarily a painting corporation now.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Customers that already have an idea in mind of color and budget. Also open to suggestions.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We are fond of homes that are in a clean state of manor for our workers safety and production time

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We prefer customers to meet us in person or have a person with Authority to welcome us on premises for initial estimations.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should potentially have all furniture, moved aside and valuable belongings. If the furniture cannot be moved, then an additional small fee may be applied to the job service for room preparation. The customer should consider additional expenses for molding and trimming to be painted separate colors from the walls and ceilings as well as doors
