What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Service calls start at $249. They include a cleaning and inspection, as well as necessary minor repairs and results are guaranteed. Any additional parts or extensive concerns will be discussed onsite, but there are no additional trip charges if we have to come back and install ordered parts. We realize that may be higher than some competitors, but we believe in transparency in pricing, which is why we let you know the full cost up front, rather than quoting you additional work on site. We also sell gas, electric, and wood fireplaces, inserts, logs, and stoves and are happy to discuss your options on site or over the phone.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our sales staff will listen to each customer's specific concerns, and tailor a solution that fits their needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our staff is trained and certified by the National Fireplace Institute, the only licensing agency in the fireplace industry for gas fireplaces.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We began by installing fireplaces for other stores, then moved on to certified warranty repairs, and now we own and operate the premier fireplace retail sales and service shop in DFW.

We work with customers from every demographic. From homeowners and home builders, to property managers and realtors, we cover every aspect of the fireplace market.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently cleaned FIVE very large fireplaces in a private residence in Fort Worth. The fireplaces all had enormous gas log sets, and the job took a FULL DAY with 2 guys. This is a repeat customer, we clean their fireplaces every year. Our first year, the cleaning took two full days!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

As with any service provider, verify credentials. For fireplace service, ALWAYS check the National Fireplace Institute (NFI) Registry at the NFI website.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Have a budget and timeline in mind, it will save a great deal of confusion up front. Try and make certain the contractor you're speaking to is an expert on the subject matter, and if you suspect not, call around.
