I’ve taken a couple of cleaning-related training classes to improve my skills, including proper techniques and using the right products with the company i work for

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started in cleaning by picking up a night job with a cleaning company. I was looking for extra income and liked the idea of working evenings. Once I got into it, I realized I actually enjoyed the work—there’s something really satisfying about walking into a messy space and leaving it spotless. That’s what got me into this line of work.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with a variety of customers, including homeowners, renters, landlords, and small business owners. Some need regular cleanings, while others call me for move-in/move-out, deep cleans, or one-time jobs. I also work with short term rental properties like Airbnb. I’m flexible and can adapt to different needs and schedules

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My team did a deep clean of a house that hadn’t been touched in a while. I tackled everything—scrubbing floors, dusting, organizing, even cleaning out the kitchen and bathroom. It was super satisfying to see the place go from dusty to spotless. I actually enjoyed the whole process—it felt good to bring the house back to life
