What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The price that I quote is for cleaning sessions only and does not include a travel fee. Please note that depending on the distance a $20 travel fee may be applied. Also, there is a cancelation fee of $50 if customer cancels the day before the scheduled cleaning session and 100% of the cleaning fee will still be charged if customer cancels the day of the scheduled cleaning session. Fees will be invoiced.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

It starts with serious inquiries only please. Depending on the distance, I like to at least send messages back and forth for more information, try to speak on the phone to get more details and confirmation. I try to schedule a meet n greet if the potential customer lives close enough. I will send a contract with a cancellation policy via message on Thumbtack or phone text and customer/ potential customer must read and agree to it before scheduled cleaning session is final.

As a licensed Caregiver, cleaning is part of caregiving. I have 6 years of professional experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was taught from a very young age how to be a homemaker.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with customers who request weekly, bi-weekly and monthly home cleaning, Landlords who needed move-out deep cleaning, Airbnb Hosts requesting Short Term Rental cleaning, homeowners who need occasional deep cleaning and decluttering. Currently I am an Airbnb co-host and an STR cleaner along with my routine house cleanings for my regular customers.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you have new or luxury floors or a luxury house (big or small) please hire a Luxury Home Cleaning Specialist or a Floor Treatment Specialist. We do not have those pros on staff.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Do you want to pay for time or results? If you expect your whole house to get deep cleaned all in 1 day, that job will require 2+ professional cleaners so you want to pay for results. If you need routine house cleaning, that job may only require 1 professional cleaner so it is ok to pay by the hour. 4-5 hours should suffice.
