Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing structure for junk removal is based on several factors, primarily the size and weight of the load. Typically, our estimates start at $250 for a quarter load, $450 for a half load, and $650 for a full load. Additional fees may be incurred if the weight surpasses 2,000 lbs. or requires extra effort for example 2nd or 3rd story set of stairs. To ensure precise pricing, we highly recommend conducting a thorough site survey, allowing us to tailor our services to your specific needs. For handyman services, our rate is $45 per hour, per worker, with a minimum of 2 hours and a $25 trip charge. Larger projects can be quoted at a fixed price after a comprehensive evaluation. To guarantee accuracy in our pricing for larger endeavors, we conduct site surveys at no additional cost. Your satisfaction is paramount to us, and we strive to provide transparent and fair pricing that reflects the quality of our workmanship.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our standard procedure involves initiating a phone conversation to gain a comprehensive understanding of your project requirements and expectations, as well as to determine the most convenient days and times for you. Following our initial discussion, we often conduct a thorough site survey to ensure that we are equipped with the appropriate tools and supplies necessary to execute your project swiftly and effectively. This proactive approach allows us to streamline our operations and deliver optimal results tailored to your needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Throughout my career, which has spanned ownership of several businesses, I've acquired a wealth of experience, particularly in carpentry skills crucial for executing installations. Presently, I'm deeply engaged in nurturing the growth of our junk removal business alongside my two sons. Together, we're not only expanding our enterprise but also instilling in them the values of exceptional customer service, as well as proficient project and task management. This dual focus on both carpentry and junk removal equips us to provide comprehensive services while fostering a culture of excellence within our team.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
y journey into this line of work began in childhood, where I was immersed in carpentry, woodworking, demolition, and a myriad of other projects under the guidance of my father and grandfather. From a young age, they imparted invaluable lessons, teaching me the fundamentals of craftsmanship and instilling in me a deep passion for working with my hands. Since then, every project has served as a new opportunity for learning and growth. Now, as a father myself, I find immense joy in passing down the tricks of the trade to my sons, continuing the legacy of skill and craftsmanship that has been handed down through generations.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We've worked with all sorts of clients; From business / corporate professionals to single moms needing help with a leaky faucet or installing a new sprinkler system.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently installed new screens on a ladies back porch. Installing new screens was the easy part but It required building a custom frame in order to plug a gap at the roof line that was allowing all sorts of leaves and debris to collect on her porch. It was fun to determine how best to go about this while making it blend in with the rest of the porch.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would look for responsiveness, good communication, professionalism, promptness both in communication as well as actions and fair pricing.
