What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is generally per job. Labor/materials/time involved and the specific project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Standard we start with a phone call or text to discuss the details and get a general idea of the project. Then we setup an estimate in person if necessary (most smaller jobs can be ballpark priced over phone)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have an associates degree in network engineering and multiple certifications in electrical smart home systems and certified pool/spa technician. I have 23 years of handyman, general construction, trim, paint, plumbing, sheetrock spackle, painting.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

On my summer during junior year of high school my stepdad who was a master electrician/contractor woke me up the first day of summer at 6am and said get up your coming to work. I want to college graduated and have been working in the construction field since then.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Every kind of customer from small handyman jobs to large scale residential and commercial projects.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Full remodel of 2 bathrooms, kitchen, paint inside/outside. All new trim and flooring, a horseshoe pit and all new appliances installed plus alot of other work outside from landscaping, firepit concrete patching/painting, interior work from storm damages including sheetrock removal insulation, repairs, spackle paint. Took approximately 2months

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't waste the contractors time and never go with the cheapest or the most expensive. Go with the small-medium companies in the middle. You get the response time you want and not a run around. Big companies ignore your calls and the ones that aren't licensed aren't reliable. Go with the middle guys.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Timing, pricing and the over all vibe you received from the contractor.
