Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Depending on the service, our pricing is usually based on how much volume the junk or debris take up in the 17 cubic yd dumpster. For moving jobs, our price always falls between $125-150 an hour which includes labor, travel time, and liability. For demolition jobs such as deck or shed removal, we charge by square footage.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I love meeting new people and being completely transparent with the customers as far as what WolfgangHD has to offer and how we tackle each individual job. First, we try to assess the extent of the job based on a couple of pictures, but we prefer to give free in-person estimates. We consider the customers' needs for every single job to ensure a smooth, hassel-free experience with customer satisfaction guaranteed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a degree in Environmental Chemistry from California University of Pennsylvania (Now PennWest University) which gives me a better understanding of how to identify hazardous chemicals to ensure safe disposal practices. I also have 2 years of experience working for Heavy Load Hauling of York, PA performing various jobs such as shed removals, deck removals, and interior demolition projects.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I worked for another junk hauling and demolition company while taking college courses where I gained 2 years of experience performing various interior and exterior demolition and junk removal projects.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, each with unique needs and requirements. I've also collaborated with small startups and have tailored my services to meet the specific demands of each client.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
My projects can be found under 'Featured Projects" with pictures and length of project included.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would begin by checking online for companies with a good reputation by checking reviews and getting quotes from multiple companies to get a feel for yourself. A service provider like myself should clearly communicate for timing and scheduling purposes as well as to understand the scope of the job and communicate any concerns they may have. Transparency is crucial in providing estimates and ensuring that their are no fees added onto the back end.
