Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
The prices are subject to change based on the number forms and if it’s a business, trust, estate, or an exempt organization. I always add value to my client and love being of service.

All Forms W-2 (wages), 1099-INT (interest), 1099-DIV (dividends), 1099-B (proceeds from broker or barter transactions), 1099-R (pensions and IRA distributions), Schedules K-1 from partnerships, S corporations, estates and trusts, and other income reporting statements, including all copies provided from the payer. Form 1095-A (for health insurance purchased through a public exchange/marketplace), Form 1095-B (for health insurance purchased outside of a public exchange), or Form 1095-C (for employer-provided health insurance coverage). How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My partner Kelly Porter, has had her firm for over 5 years and I felt in love with the business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have collaborated with different clients. 80% percent of my clients are new businesses and businesses that need help with tax resolution services. For example, client’s that owed more than 10k to the IRS, State of California FTB, EDD, and CDTFA.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Successfully negotiated a tax resolution 193k back taxes case against the IRS. The taxpayer had previously paid thousands of dollars to a tax resolution company to help with the IRS debt. Unfortunately for the taxpayer the company was more concerned with making the most money. I took over and in less than 2 months I got the job done. There are red flags I learned from what dishonest tax resolutions firms do. Please contact me if you have any questions.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Please check their credentials and get different opinions from other tax clients. Make sure the person you’re speaking with will be doing the job. There are firms that outsource the work to other individuals and thus increase the price. That’s very popular in bookkeeping and tax resolution.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Find out the times and make sure they can add value and not just input data. Also ask questions as a good tax professional loves the subject and should be able to answer your questions. If they get annoyed the odds are higher that you’re speaking with a dishonest salesperson and their goal is to get the most of your hard-earned money.
