Hired at 16 to do medical billing back before computers where a part of every businesses day to day activities. I was hired on the spot because I had excellent math skills and typed over 100 words per minute. I put myself through college working full time as a bookkeeper which evolved into earning my CPA license.

I typically take on the role of controller or CFO for small to mid-size businesses who only need my level of expertise on an as needed basis. This could be a projection for bank or investor financing which I also train my clients to use to manage their business and cash flow. I setup or reconfigured accounting systems using MAS90, MAS500, QuickBooks, BusinessWorks, etc., I either prepare or review financial reports, prepare income returns as well as sales tax, payroll & property tax returns. I have extensive knowledge in setting up new businesses in multiple states as well as the required filings needed to close down a business. I train accounting staff to teach them efficient proper methods to process various accounting tasks. I also work with them either monthly or quarterly to review the financial statements and other work prepared by my clients staff to assure management that reports generated are accurate to use in managing their business. I am also an independent second source for my small clients with few employees should something happen to their one person accounting department. This helps manage the business, cash, revenue, expenses and so forth. I am a CPA with detailed accounting and tax knowledge while also being a valuable business consultant. My methods throughout the year provides valuable data to efficiently run a business as my goal is to save my clients more than the fees I charge.
