We provide remote / virtual bookkeeping services. We do not provide CPA or tax return services. We will work with you to get your financial house in order so you can file your tax returns each year with your CPA or tax person of choice. We are thorough, dependable and accurate number gurus. Accounting & Bookkeeping Service Packages Offered: A. Review Customer: "I'd like to do all the day to day functions in Quickbooks but need someone to look over my work and do the more complex Quickbooks entries." B. Lite & Ongoing Customer: "I plan to handle all the day to day bookkeeping functions manually "by hand" (pay the bills, make the deposits, etc.) but need someone to integrate my information into an accounting program on a monthly basis." What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Once we have an understanding of what their needs are we can provide an estimate so they can have an idea up front what to expect.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We will request information about their business or personal financial history. How many bank accounts are there? How many credit cards are there? Do you run payroll if so weekly, biweekly or monthly? How many loan accounts are there? Do you use Paypal? Do you have different income streams that need to be tracked? We will also request to either have three months worth of statements for each account that is part of their financial picture or request a copy of their QB file (if one is available) in order to get an idea as to how many transactions go through their books on a monthly basis. This will allow us to put together an estimate for the customer. Once an estimate is provided and the customer approves of the work, we will send over our Standard Terms that lay out our agreement and Retainer Invoice to begin the work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We use Quickbooks as our main platform. We are both SDSU alumni which graduated with Bachelor's Degrees in Business with an emphasis in Accounting and Marketing. We have been working with small businesses and individuals since 1999. We use our knowledge of business to guide our clients which in turn leads to them having more time to focus on their business and/or personal life.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We have always enjoyed working with numbers. We love working with customers and helping them find solutions for their accounting needs so they can rest assured they have everything ready for the end of the year madness.

We have worked with customers in all different industries: Retail, Mortgage Companies, Real Estate, Pre-Schools, Non-Profits, Hunting Clubs, Trucking Industry, Music Industry, Sports Clubs, Dentists, Veterinarians, Lawyers, Property Managers, Consultants, Construction, Personal Finances

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We work with a customer that has a branch. We have been working with this customer for the past 23 years. Corporate went through an accounting system upgrade and changed their accounting software program limiting the information available to our customer. We were in charge of restructuring our customers entire accounting process on our end in order to allow them to track their income and expenses providing them the detail they need in order to run their operation. At the end of the day our customer was happy as they were able to continue receiving the reports they wanted. This project took 24 hours.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking for a service provider to help you with your accounting look for someone that has "passion" for the numbers. I know this may sound silly but it is true. If there is passion for the work to be performed, you can always feel secure knowing your service provider will be looking out for you in all circumstances and will go that extra mile.
