What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My fair pricing has your budget in mind, and my experience your confidence. If you need consulting services outside of the tax prep or bookkeeping/accounting, message me and we can discuss rates.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First is an informal interview where I get to know the customer a bit and understand their needs. Then after the customer has entrusted me with their needs we either meet in person or remotely to discuss how and when the services will be rendered. Usually this is then followed by exchange of information and/or documents. Once the project/service is complete the customer is notified and documents are returned if requested.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a bachelor's in Finance and an MBA in finance from a credible and well accredited university. I have been working in accounting for 10 years now in various businesses and industries. I also have been working with a CPA for the past 4 years in tax prep for business and individual along with accounting/bookkeeping services for small businesses. I plan on pursing my CPA license in the next year or two and continue my education in accounting and tax.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with many individuals and small businesses with their various situations: a traditional family filing jointly or separately, single self-employed, small business owners, simple trusts, NPO, and many more. What ever your situation, I'll personally see to researching and properly performing the work required.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please seek a licensed professional or someone who works directly under one. Discern whether they operate ethically and take the time to understand your situation and needs. If possible seek references or ask for examples of experience and knowledge in the particular tax/accounting/business situation you are in.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What paperwork do I have or may need for the professional to complete the project thoroughly? What past or current activities may contribute or affect my situation? How will I be able to safely pass along all information or documents needed? How will I settle any financial liability?
