We offer monthly or quarterly bookkeeping packages as well as QuickBooks training sessions

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The initial discovery call will help determine if a client is a good fit for our services. We will then request access to your QuickBooks file in order to review specific needs and advise you of what would be the best way to accomplish your goals and suggestions to consider before implementing a plan of action.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Referrals from satisfied clients and by the growing need for outsourced bookkeeping in our community.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've had many clients from a wide variety of industries although most clients in SW FL stem from the construction industry.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Overhauled and restructured the books of a homebuilder that was previously handled by a CPA. Like many others, they spent thousands of dollars thinking their books were being done correctly, plus thousands of dollars lost in misstated bookkeeping transactions! With persistence and hard work, the owner and I were able to work as a team to get them where they needed to be. With this, the owner would be able to clearly explain what the transactions were for if they were to ever get an IRS audit.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they are certified. Anyone can call themselves a bookkeeper, so don't sell yourself short by choosing someone based solely on price.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Be up front with your project deadlines and expectations so you will be given an accurate quote. What is their availability and turnaround time? Are you open to having work done remotely or require someone work at your location?
