I charge $75 per hour for cleanups. If the customer decides to continue monthly services with me, I give them a reduced hourly rate.

I usually do an initial consultation which is free to find out what their needs are and during that meeting we discuss whether a cleanup is needed. If a cleanup is needed, then I charge a deposit to cover 4 hours of work and once that is used up then we discuss what additional work is needed. After the cleanup is complete, then we agree to an hourly rate for regular upkeep, and I work for the first couple of months at an hourly rate. When we have an average of how many hours are needed each month then we agree on a regular recurring rate that is charged to their card each month going forward.

I graduated with a degree in accounting and have since attended conferences and gone through training to find out the newest and the latest in the industry in order to keep current with industry.

I started out with doing the books for my grandparent ranch as a high school student and then studied it in college and have enjoyed it ever since.

I have worked with small companies with revenue between $50K-100K, medium sized companies with revenue between $100K and $500K, large companies with revenue between from $500K to multi-millions, as well as non-profit organizations.

I was hired by a client to do a cleanup of 2022 and when I was done, and they got their taxes back they found out that they got a tax refund. That had not ever happened. When they found that out, they had me go back and clean up their books for 2020 and 2021 to amend their returns. They were able to get money back from those years as well and were overjoyed. There was a lot of data that I needed to weed through, so it took me longer than usual, but I was able to get it done in a couple of months’ time which was faster than I had quoted them.

Interview providers and don't just settle on your first one. Getting references is always a good idea. This not only allows you to hear from someone else how they did, but it also can help you decide who would be the best fit for your type of business.

What aspects of your accounting process do you want to have managed? Do you want full-charge accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, invoicing, etc.)? Or do you just want a portion of that handled by a professional? You also need to decide whether you are willing to hire a professional remotely or if they need to be local because that will weed out a lot of entities right there.
