Like I said above I like to come and visit your home the first time and get a feel for what is required from me before firm price is given.

Putting a fixed price on Thumbtack is hard for me. I like to meet the potential customer that I would be cleaning for see what they’re looking to have done and then providing a firm estimate based on their special circumstances.

My lifelong journey of being a house wife and mother of five children has enabled me to know what is important in a family. It helps me to understand that keeping the house clean comes in second to providing for a family and raising children.

I love helping people who need help with cleaning and other household chores. Because of my detail personality I’ve had so many positive reviews from my customers over the years. That’s what keeps me going in this field it just makes me feel so good about my life.

I had a customer that had several children and a very big house, and her life was very chaotic and unorganized. She asked me to come in and help clean which I did. Having been at that stage of life that she is in helped me to understand what priorities she needed. I ended up being there for an entire summer helping her organize her house and helped her get some structure back in her life. Because of my sewing background I also helped her update some decorating with pillows and valances. That project was a life changer for her and made me feel like I made a difference. And that is what is important to me.
