What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I must learn the basics of what the new client does and what they need from me. As I learn their business I can better provide what they need and when possible also what they want (when those two things might differ).

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I working at a local CPA firm for about 5 years before moving into industry. My time in public accounting exposed me to many different situations and gave me great experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Took an accounting class my senior year in high school because i needed to fill an hour in my class schedule and I liked the teacher who was teaching it. i quickly realized that accounting fit my personality and I enjoyed the way everything fit together nicely. By the end of the class I had decided that I was going to get my degree in Accounting when I went to ETSU.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Bookkeeping: Real Estate investor, Real Estate agent, Manufacturing facility, Tire store, Church, Insurance Agency Taxes: Individuals from various professions including Doctors, Farmers, Truck drivers, Lawn Care, etc.; Businesses including corporations, partnerships, and sole proprietors
