Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
All packages are custom and consist of only the services that you need.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I always like to begin all inquiries with a discovery call, which consists of learning about your business and determining whether I am the best fit for you and your business. Once I learn more about your business and can provide a proposal, we will begin the onboarding process. This process begins with the signing of the contract, providing accountant access to accounting software, bank accounts and credit card accounts as needed, and well as other essential financial documents.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a BSBA in Accounting. I am also a full-time Federal Auditor. Feel free to look me up on LinkedIn.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I've always enjoyed working office jobs. When I was young, the minute someone noticed that I was good at writing and typing, it seemed all administrative tasks because my responsibility and it just grew from there.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I've worked with customers in a wide variety of industries to include real estate, nonprofits, government contractors, and many more.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I always recommend meeting and discussing your business needs a bit more than just talking about the financials. This will allow you to determine what type of person you need to work with. For example, do you want them to be more hands-on (phone calls, video conferences, etc.) or would you prefer someone more behind the scenes (emails, text messages, etc.). In addition, it also depends on how you are keeping track of your data and how tech savvy you consider yourself. Are you willing to work with someone virtual who requires the documents to also be provided virtually (scanned and uploaded onto a cloud drive) or would you prefer someone local who can be handed the receipts and documents in person?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1. What is your current process for completing accounting-related work (tracking income and expenses)? 2. Are there any legal requirements that you need to ensure are met? 3. What is the timeline? Is it feasible? 4. Are there any reports you want on a recurring basis?
