What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We work with you to build a custom solution for your company, then we will bill by the hour to get you up to speed. After three monthly cycles of by-the-hour work, we will transition you to a set monthly fee based on your average hourly labor in the first three cycles. Our monthly bookkeeping service starts at $85/month.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our process with each client varies as our services are highly customized. Generally, we invite you to meet our team of experts. Then, after a consultation, you’ll complete new client paperwork and on-boarding. Next, we’ll develop a customized action plan to best meet your bookkeeping needs. Lastly, we’ll maintain and manage your finances month over month and share regular reports and outcomes.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a Certified QuickBooks Online Proadvisor, This is in addition to over 20+ years of hands-on, practical experience in private industry jobs as a controller before opening my own practice.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Back in the late 1990's I began working at my father's accounting firm. I am classically trained in audit, tax, and bookkeeping. I even began by using DOS-based bookkeeping software.

Our experts customize plans to best meet your immediate and long-term business needs. We serve a wide variety of industries including: technology, retail, non-profit, oil & gas, food & beverage, e-commerce, manufacturing, ranches, property management, medical and many more.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We had a major client get audited by the IRS. We had kept their books about 4 years, and were meticulous with our reporting and supporting documentation. In two days the IRS interviewed the client, reviewed our records, issued a "no change letter" and closed the audit. Goes with out saying, the client was happy for the closed audit!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Seek professionals that specialize in your software, make sure they are insured, highly rated and attentive to your needs. Anyone can get QuickBooks and call themselves a bookkeeper. These are typically the ones that charge lower rates and have little experience or the infrastructure and necessary knowledge to manage your account.
