What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing is specific to our clients' needs and depends on several factors including amount of monthly transactions, number of accounts/loans/credit cards, software used, current status of books, etc.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We always start with a free phone consultation. If both parties are interested in working together, more information is shared so that a fee can be quoted. Once terms are agreed on, a contract is signed that protects both parties. All contracts are cancellable with a 30 day notice.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

~ BBA in Finance , with a minor in Accounting and Banking ~ Quickbooks Online - Platinum Certified ~ 20+ years as a business banker ~ 6+ years as a licensed mortgage lender

How did you get started doing this type of work?

As a banker to small businesses for many years, I always wanted to start my own small business. During those years, I realized how well I was able to help my clients get their books in order so that their finances could be reviewed for a loan approval. I also learned how much I enjoyed that aspect of my job. So in the midst of Covid lockdown, I used my additional free time to start and build my own business that I had been dreaming of doing for years!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A very recent client came to us in January 2025, looking for help on her 2 business that were 3 years behind on taxes. I immediately connected her with 3 suggested tax preparers, while I reviewed her accounts so that I could give a fee and time line. By the end of March, my company had reviewed and organized all of her company financial information and compiled 3 years of financials for each company. Now she is approaching this years tax deadline with 2 companies ready for tax filing using her tax preparer of choice. This was the first time in 4 years she wasn't stressed over this situation. Now, we will continue to keep her bookkeeping caught up on a monthly basis.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Take a look at the social media of that person or business! Are they educating the community? Are they responsive to the community? Are they responsive to your initial inquiry?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Know the current state of your bookkeeping before reaching out. How long has it been since you filed taxes? What is the latest accounting software you were using? When was your last up to date Profit & Loss statement?
