L. V. Browne, CPA wants you to be satisfied with our work. You will not be charged until the job is complete. We are fair with pricing and are very competitive with our rates.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I love doing virtual consultations. I have a document exchange system whereby my clients can upload sensitive documents securely. The system will notify my clients as to needs and progress.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

L. V. Browne has been a CPA since 1995. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in teaching with advanced coursework in accounting and tax research.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

L. V. Browne, CPA has been a CPA since 1995. She started out in public accounting and progressively worked her way up the ladder in many types of organization in the accounting function. She now works for herself performing accounting, tax, systems implementation, controllership and consulting work.

I have worked with small businesses, service businesses, non-profit organizations, arts organizations, sports organizations, salons and more.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently performed consulting for an arts organization to make sure their by-laws were up to date and to assess their accounting processes. It took approximately 2 weeks from start to finish.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You need a CPA because CPAs undergo a great deal of training to attain certification and must spend additional time each year obtaining continuing professional education to stay current in the accounting field. They are licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

You should know whether the professional is licensed in what they do because that shows a certain level of expertise and commitment to the accounting profession.
