Introduction

Suncrest Financial Services, located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland are licensed IRS Enrolled Agents and CPA’s, that are federally licensed to represent you against the Internal Revenue Service, and your State.. We are highly qualified to resolve your tax or accounting needs, because we’ve almost seen it all. We’ve recently helped a tax client win an IRS AUDIT, which saved him over $178,000 in taxes and penalty fees. On the other hand, we’ve helped solve the most complex tax cases with small businesses, and cleaned up the most disorganized bookkeeping. In the same manner, I would love to solve your tax or accounting problems too, and become your trusted advisor along the way. You should hire us because we’ve protected our clients, both individuals and businesses, from being harassed and financially ruined by IRS and bad tax preparers since 2012. We want to help you. With our expertise and solid accounting background, we’ve successfully saved our clients over millions of dollars. But, most importantly, we've been able to help our clients better understand how the US Tax Code works in their favor. We have also effectively showed clients the advantages and disadvantages of our tax system, on a case by case basis to implement strategizes to reduce their taxes. Our goal is to teach the masses how to protect their money and businesses from taxes, because as Ben Franklin said: “Nothing is certain except for death and taxes.”

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is extremely competitive especially for someone with my background and experience. I do work with clients and make payment options that can suit your needs. Please reach out to me to discuss your case personally to see if there are any payment options or discounts available for your situation.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I speak with clients either by phone, video conferencing or face to face. I'm pretty flexible. My customer's option mainly surrounds their location and flexibility. However, with all three of my options I know I can serve you exactly the way you want. Please note: I do have a detailed breakdown of my complete tax process, that would be provided to you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I'm an Enrolled Agent, licensed to represent you and anyone before the Internal Revenue Service. Additionally, I have a Master's of Science in Accounting and Financial Management.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I've always had a passion for numbers, but at an early age, due to my father being an Accountant, I was exposed to the amount of good and economic impact accountants play.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Here are a few examples of the type of clients I've happily served (many more instances): 1. Single person, income from $15,000 to $3,000,000 2. Husband and Wife, multiple rental properties, income from $90,000 to $1,500,000. 3. One-Owner (Single Member) LLC small business owner, rental properties, IRA cash out. 4. Single Mom, with 1 to 4 Children, that needs her refund. 5. Corporation owner needing to file 1120 6. Single or Couple having to file back taxes as many as 15 years 7. S-Corporation owner needing to file 1120-S 8. Partnership partner needing to file 1065 9. Single or Couple owning Gas & Oil Royalties, rental properties, stock, and more. I've helped so many types of customers. Please contact me to see if I could help you. As an Enrolled Agent and Accountant, I work for you and not the IRS.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
My most recent project is the amendment of a client that had a CPA prepare his taxes and business books. The CPA didn't realize that he made the client miss deductions. I reviewed the client's taxes and realized that a deduction o was missed. The amount of the missed expense was $108,998.00. In two weeks of working with this client, I was able to get them back $108,998.00 from IRS and $22,902 from Washington, DC. If you've left any money on the table I will find it when I review your taxes.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My advice to you is to never choose a professional based on price or credentials. I say that because the cheaper service may be affordable now but can cost you hundreds if your taxes aren't prepared properly. I must admit not all CPA's specialize in taxes. Just because a person has a CPA or top credentials doesn't mean they specialize in taxes. I'm an Enrolled Agent, a tax accountant. I specialize in taxes and have been preparing taxes for 16 years (second generation). Also, you want someone that is open year round and actually is an accountant by trade not because it's tax season. You want to work with a provider that is passionate and clearly focused on your financial goals.
