I’m Casandra with Collins Bookkeeping Solutions. I assist small businesses and sole proprietors manage their financials through professional bookkeeping using QuickBooks as a Certified ProAdvisor. Before starting Collins Bookkeeping Solutions, I did seasonal work managing multiple small business owners books for a local financial office in Grand Haven, MI. In addition, I have training in Accounting and Business Administration, and Hubdoc Certified to get you and your business cloud technology ready! I can help you properly manage your bookkeeping. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Everyones business is unique. So I prefer to do a consult before providing a quote.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First, we'll determine what services fit your needs. Then I'll review the current books and start to make a determination of the time needed per month to accomplish the goals. Next, I submit a proposal to you that shows a breakdown of the costs of my services, and should you decide that we are a good fit, then I send an engagement letter outlining how we will do business together. Once the letter is signed and the first month is paid, I get to work immediately.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Casandra Collins knows all too well the many hats any small business owner must wear. After running a non-profit and working for other small businesses, Casandra decided to use her education, experience and love for helping others to develop her own business - one that relieves entrepreneurs of some of the most time-consuming and important hats they wear - bookkeeping and financial management. And when it comes to cleaning up the books to get back on track, Collins is a champion! She loves a good challenge and prides herself with how quickly and efficiently her business has been able to straighten out her clients’ books.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Our ideal client is the small business owners with under 20 employees that have taken their passion and made it their life's work, who have been in business for over a year and have little to no bookkeeping help or experience.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

2 year clean up for a client and converted this client to QBO and now manage his books monthly! ahhh! Clean-up-to-date books!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be sure to hire someone with some accounting knowledge, bookkeeping training, and is QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.
