I’ve been working with Apple systems for over 40 years (since 1982) and was recognized in 2015 as one of the top-ranked Apple engineers on Thumbtack. I’m a certified Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA), which is the highest level of Apple IT certification. I have also completed certifications for: Apple Certified Desktop Technician Apple Certified Mac Technician Apple Certified Portable Technician Apple Xsan for Pro Video Originally, I came from a law enforcement background and received certified forensic data recovery training through NASA, as well as additional forensics training accredited by the California Department of Justice. I’ve used these skills to recover data from countless drives, often for clients who believed their data was irrecoverable. After transitioning from law enforcement, I specialized in creating Hollywood-class Apple editing systems for the film industry. I’ve provided solutions for clients worldwide, including The Walt Disney Company, ImageMovers Digital, the Goddard Space Flight Center, Honeywell, and the FBI. I was one of the first users to adopt 4K cameras from RED Digital Cinema (cameras #20 and #21) and have an extensive background in shooting across multiple camera platforms and formats. Because of my work in the movie industry, I developed a deep marketing background. I’m extremely well-versed in social media marketing, Adobe Photoshop (for both editorial and digital restoration), Adobe Illustrator, and countless other digital tools. I currently serve as the full-time creative director for a California-based firm, where I rely on my digital art skills every day. I love that no two projects are alike—there’s always a bit of mystery and discovery involved. Being able to deliver solutions that perfectly address each client’s unique challenges is incredibly rewarding.
