Our company follows legally compliant recycling and disposal methods, reducing the potential environmental impact of tech waste. By doing so, we free landfills of hazardous junk and keep Maine green. At Computer Be Gone we mitigate this through proper E-Waste disposal. Our business follows all legally compliant recycling and disposal methods which reduce the potential environmental impact of tech waste. By doing so, we free landfills of hazardous materials to help keep Maine green. Electronic waste is mainly made up of non-biodegradable components that fill up our landfills and ruin the environment. Recycling By reporting quarterly to Maine’s Department of Environmental Protection, we ensure business compliance with the state’s E-Waste and environmental electronics processing procedures. Disposal All sensitive and confidential information stored in decommissioned computer hard drives is safely removed for information security. Certificates of destruction are available for minimal cost. E-Waste Pickups No need to spend lots of money for E-Waste pickups anywhere in Portland or South Portland. Pickups in adjacent towns can be scheduled for a small fee Data Destruction Business’s need to follow legal data destruction regulations when eliminating hard drive data.
