What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is centered around the area where my business is established. Local (Otsego, Plainwell) will receive reduced fees for dispatching, bench disassembly etc at a 40$ rate instead of my non-local 80$ rate.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Presenting them with options and knowledge, answering questions is fundamentally the most important part of the job. If I educate my clients and convers with them as a local small business should then it will reduce the chances of them having issues in the future, saving them money in the long run.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been working with computers in various capacities since my wee years. Offering builds to friends and acquaintances, troubleshooting and fixing tactical operation assemblies as well as nodes.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was previously working in HVAC however decided to move onto something that I felt that western Michigan was lacking in the rural communities and that would be affordable, efficient technology care.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Honestly one that was out of the blue was configuring a bird camera to operate on a 5ghz network and store bird snapshots and uploads to a backup SD card as well as sending them to the clients media storage so they could look at their phone and go into their application to look at birds that visited that day.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Advice I have always given is always get more than one quote, even if that means I may lose out on an opportunity at the end of the day client care is priority and they need to feel comfortable with the services requested. Technicians all have strengths and weaknesses so communicating that is always a positive.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Web articles can provide some insight into basic troubleshooting skills for things like failure to power on, post codes etc. A good example is in my ************************** where I update guides, general information sheets and other documents to educate people before spending money.
