What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I normally charge a $50 diagnostic fee and then parts and labor. I always discussed before doing any work to make sure that the price is fair with them.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I am happy to have a conversation about what is going on and set up a booking to assist them. we will go over cost after I have diagnosed the issue.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 9+ years of IT experience and helpdesk, administration, networking, hardware and software support, etc...

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have worked on computers my entire life, ever since I was a kid I was breaking stuff and putting it back together before my family found out so I wouldn't get in trouble. I just ended up making a career out of it.

What types of customers have you worked with?

all types, from people who are advanced in IT, to people who have never seen a computer before.As long as I understand what's going on, I can teach someone else how to fix it.
