Introduction

I pride myself on providing responsive and efficient legal services to clients throughout the Bay Area. I achieve this by always providing my clients with my personal phone number (no front desk staff to navigate), keeping my clients abreast of changes to the status of their project, and ensuring that I always provide an efficient solution-oriented approach to legal problem solving.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is customer-friendly and I am confident that I can beat or match any quote you've already received from another attorney/law firm. I can provide estimated pricing for standard services. However, most of my services are tailored to specific needs and require situation specific information. Once I receive that information I usually provide a quote in either hourly or flat fee or contingency fee.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First we discuss your needs and obtain more detail on your goals and timetable. Then we discuss the options that are available to meet your goals. A quote for the work is then provided.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a lawyer with a background in the finance/accounting. I have a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Sonoma State University, a Master of Science in Accounting from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management, and a J.D. from the UC Davis School of Law (King Hall).

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I first got started in estate/probate while attending law school. To make a little money on the side, I assisted several attorneys with their estate/probate matters. I found this field to be rewarding as it often involved navigating both the law and family relationships, requiring both cognitive and emotional intelligence to succeed.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Individuals to publicly traded companies and everything in between.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would always recommend that you hire an attorney who take the time to get a detailed picture of your legal issue and is willing to provide options that work best for you, not them.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
You should consider your goals, your budget and the timeframe for completion.
