At Pondeva & Sohrab, APC we focus our attention on the client and their specific set of circumstances. Each client has a different case and we aim all of our efforts into understanding our client's needs and forming the best solution for those specific needs. As attorneys' we pride ourselves on the fact that we handle the client's case from the initial consultation all the way to the end. Our client's do not have to deal with paralegals and assistants who do not have the necessary legal background, but are each given the attention they deserve and pay for. At Pondeva & Sohrab, APC, our greatest achievement and what we love most about our job is knowing that we are able to make, what can generally be a very long confusing and stressful process, much easier and less stressful for our clients, and most of all we love getting results!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer competitive and reasonable pricing for all types of representation. We offer limited scope representation for clients who have a narrow issue that needs to be resolved on a flat fee basis. We also offer payment plans that can financially accommodate many of our clients.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We offer phone, virtual and in person consultations to all of our thumbtack clients. In the consultation we thoroughly assess & review your case with you. We review any case related documents and information you provide, and answer any questions or concerns you may have, as well as advice you with the best course of action to take for your particular case. Our 30 minute consultations come with a $175 fee and our 1 hour consultations come with $350 fee.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All of our attorneys completed their legal education from accredited institutions and passed the bar on their first attempt. They also continue to obtain monthly, quarterly, and annual training to be updated with new laws and regulations.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with clients from many walks of lives and pride ourselves on providing the best possible representation for every client whether they may be more financially stable or not. Each of our clients is given the utmost attention and respect.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Many clients come to us and tell us that they would rather pay a paralegal, notario, or a legal document preparer for a much lower cost rather than hiring a lawyer. What we want all of our clients and potential clients to keep in mind is the high risk they run by having someone who merely fills out applications in making mistakes and possibly placing them in a worse situation then they were to begin with. Just as in the medical field also in the legal field, sometimes it's worth spending a little more to ensure that everything is done the right way. In the end of it all it is your personal life on the line.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It is a great misconception that lawyers are out to get everyone. As attorneys who are immigrants to this country ourselves we take pride in knowing that we have the power to change our clients' lives for the better and we treat our clients with the utmost dignity and respect.
