I offer competitive, cost-effective pricing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically, I will consult with a prospective client over the phone or in the office. When the client hires me, I immediately begin work on the client's case. I stay in communication with my client throughout the process and ensure that the client is secure and confident in my representation.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a husband, parent, pastor, attorney, and author. I have a bachelors in business administration from Shorter University, a masters of divinity from Southern Bible Seminary, and a juris doctorate from Drake University. I have been practicing law for more than fifteen years. I have been a pastor and a small business owner almost all of my adult life. I have owned multiple insurance agencies, a trucking/transportation company, and I have served as pastor at several churches. I recently published a book on family law.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I explain how I came to be an attorney in my book, but in a word...I wanted to help those who need it most...when they need it most. While I do charge for my services (everyone has to make a living), I care about what I do, and I treat every client as a unique individual--as if theirs is the only case that I have.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with clients of widely varying backgrounds from professional ballplayers...to airline pilots...to business owners...to veterans...to stay-at-home moms...to blue collar workers. I see the value in and respect each individual.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently made national headlines and case law by winning a case at the appellate level. I appeared on nationally syndicated radio shows and news broadcasts. You can read about my case(s) on ABC.com, and find out more about me and the cases that have been featured in the news at my website.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My book gives insight on how to hire the right lawyer, but I would say to chose a lawyer who is first and foremost competent and then make sure that this lawyer cares about you and your case.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

If you are facing a family law issue or a bankruptcy, make sure that you are prepared to hire a lawyer who is experienced, caring, and an authority on that area of law.
