What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I work on flat fees for uncontested matters. I work on hourly fees for contested matters. I am able to work on payment plans with automatic draft payments (conditions apply).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We start with an initial meeting, which typically takes 15-30 minutes, to evaluate your problem and goal. If you decide to retain my services, we take care of paperwork and payment, then I get to work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am an alumnus of University of Central Florida, and Stetson University College of Law. I've been a licensed practitioner since 2014.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I wanted to be a lawyer since I won a public speaking competition in 4th grade. I later went on to debate team and mock trial team throughout school, and then I started doing the real thing. I am passionate about my work, and I care about the outcome of your case.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have taken care of clients from just about every background you could think of. I really like working with families who consider their children's best interests first!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I helped a father keep his children in their school, even though the mother wanted to change their school for seemingly no other purpose than to be vindictive against the father. The children were middle and high school aged, and wished to stay with their friends and teachers. That took about 8 months from the time of filing until the judge made a ruling.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't choose the lawyer who makes promises and guarantees - there is no such thing in the practice of law. Choose the lawyer that is able to answer all of your questions, collaborate with you on a game plan, then work their tail off to execute it.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What outcome are you looking for in your case? What might you be willing to compromise on, and what are you willing to go to trial for? Try to be realistic. Remember that a trial is your opportunity to present your best case as strongly as possible - but that a Judge is just a person faced with making deeply personal decisions for a family they don't know.
