Introduction

Sheila Merchant Legal is a boutique law firm focusing on real estate and business law. I’m a graduate of Columbia Law School with 10 years of experience with corporate formation and structuring, contract drafting, real estate, for sale by owner (FSBO) real estate transactions, business purchases and sales, lease negotiation and restructuring, M&A, trademark filings, and corporate law matters. I advise clients of all types and sizes including residential/commercial property owners and sellers, LLC's, C Corps, S Corps, B Corps, startups, franchises, small businesses, medium-large businesses, and social purpose corporations. My clients love how I keep things simple, educate them on their options, and help them navigate challenges with a conscious and collaborative mindset. Prior to founding my firm, I worked at two of the nation’s top law firms on large scale deals, including billion-dollar wind and solar projects. My first 15 minute phone consultation with any prospective client is always free of charge. Contact me today to schedule your consult.
