What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The typical process begins with a free, no obligation, 20-minute client consultation, done via telephone. Through this phone call, I am able to get an understanding of your legal challenges and can advise on whether I am best suited to address your needs. This conversation will also include a discussion of my fee schedule so that you can make an informed decision about whether to move forward with the representation. As a solo practitioner, unfortunately, I am unable to offer any pro bono or reduced fee legal services.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am an experienced litigator with over ten years of trial experience. My litigation experience informs every aspect of work, allowing me to provide strategic and long-term solutions to the challenges faced by my clients.

I have worked with both individuals and businesses to help them resolve their legal issues.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently incorporated a new entertainment and media company so that it can operate as a legal entity within the State of Maryland. This project was completed in a matter of days because I advised my client in advance of the information and documentation that would be necessary in order for me to complete the process quickly.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

An individual seeking an attorney should ensure that they are comfortable with the level of communication that they are receiving from the legal service provider before engaging the services of that attorney. Any legal proceeding or undertaking requires a client to be able to ask questions, ask for clarification, and ask for updates. An attorney must be attentive and responsive to address the questions of their client as soon as possible. Always choose to work with someone with whom you can communicate effectively.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

An individual facing a legal issue should think about the outcome that they desire, consider the time frame in which they would like to implement legal strategy, and consider their budget for legal fees. If these guidelines are clear, it will assist the attorney in determining what your legal needs are and determining whether the attorney is best suited to address your legal needs.
