The agreement will address the duties and agreements between the attorney and client as well as set out any required retainer fee, attorney hourly rate, and additional costs. Make sure you understand and discuss all the associated fees when you retain an attorney in your matter.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes, attorneys in the state of Utah are required to attend approved continuing legal education courses to maintain their license with the state of Utah. Continuing legal education course help keep the attorney knowledgeable in his/her area of law.
